How to Unlock your Vehicles so they Update Through Dealer Solutions Automatically

If you notice vehicles are not updating on your website the first place to look is your Vehicle Selector to be sure they are not “Locked”.  A locked vehicle means it has been edited through the Marketing Center Software and to protect your changes from getting overwritten by a feed, it locks the vehicle so any feed that updates the vehicle will be ignored.

How to Unlock Your Inventory

  1. Open DSMC or access your website through your admin portal (
  2. In DSMC click the My Account tab
  3. Click the menu button Vehicle Selector 
  4. View the far left column and uncheck any locked vehicles.  Click the column header to select/deselect all vehicles at once.
  5. Be sure to scroll down and Save Changes
  6. Now wait for your next feed update or if you have the K3 Uploader tool, right click it and say Send to Website.
