Is your software backed up?

This may not be a question you think about often, but may pop in to your mind when a natural disaster such a hurricane is looming!  If you are a monthly subscriber, backup software is available to you, but don't just assume you are being backed up!  Mozy Pro must be installed and running without errors on your server. The Mozy Pro software includes a status window where you can easily check if your backup is operational.  If you are unable to find the status window on the server, then it may not be installed

Important things to remember

1) Mozy obtained through Dealer Solutions ONLY backs up Dealer Solutions.  None of your personal documents, Financial software, etc will be backed up.  Be sure to have another plan for your other important files!

2) Mozy only runs on the Dealer Solutions server.  You will not find it installed on and cannot check the status from any other computer.

3) Automated backup is only available to monthly subscribers or those who pay for it yearly.  If you bought a lifetime license 9 or more years ago, we cannot provide you with backup

4) Even if you have mozy, it's still a good idea to make your own backup from time to time.  Always have a plan B!
